Planning, continued
We leave Minneapolis very early in the am and fly to Miami for a long 23 hour layover. We are going to spend it on South Beach in the Art Deco strip on Ocean Drive. My Cousin and his family live close by and are going to meet us somewhere near for dinner. In the morning we will catch our plane to St.Lucia were we will stay for the first 4 days at a B&B up in the jungle just up from the east coast of the island. There are botanical gardens, zip lines, and a swimming hole all within walking distance.
From there we will have a few tasks, aside from finding good food drink and awesome vantage points to watch the Sun set. We will be provisioning a 41 foot performance cruising sailboat for an eight day cruise. On our third day we will be joined by my Uncle and his Wife. On the following afternoon we board the boat and plan to sail to St.Vincent and then off to the rest of the Grenadines. They are referred to as the leeward Islands do to the favorable winds conditions that are constant and favorable to sailing. We plan to visit Bequia, Mustique, and many more before returning to St.Lucia. Then one more day on the Island to collect ourselves and then fly home the following morning.
