We arrived just before dusk Orlando helped us moor the boat in a cove next to a cave that was used in the film Pirates of the Caribbean. His wife Rosie prepared us a wonderful 4 course meal with all the extras and then deasert. Thank you Rock Side Cafe.
Uncle Bill and Vivian joining us at Lorraine Peace of Paradise in Mamiku
Picked up Bill and Vivian at the airport and they joined us at our B&B in the jungle. We enjoyed local rum and an awesome breakfast of coffee local fruits and Breads.
Exploring the east coast of St.Lucia
Our guide Melvin walked us around 3 consecutive bays in Mamiku about a 5 mile hike. We explored the mangroves, stone beaches and grassland leading up to the wind blasted coast. Melvin is a botanist so the hike was educational as well as he pointed out and decribed in great detail a great variaty of various plants that grow in and along the coast and on the Island.
